We are excited to announce the Rolla Multisport Club has been asked to serve on the LOC for the Tour's stop/start here in our communities. We will be overseeing the ancillary events. This is an incredible opportunity for us to get the community involved and hooked on cycling while promoting our club. It will take the efforts of everyone to make this successful. We look forward to anyone's thoughts, ideas, or comments on this issue. Moreover, we look forward to working together to make this Tour stop memorable for everyone. So far some ideas for ancillary events are having weekly rides for families, pre-ride the course as an organized event, a "meet in the middle ride" which is coordinated between here and Lebanon or here in Jeff City, Ride to St. James during Summerfest. These are just some preliminary thoughts. We would love to hear more suggestions.
