The Munoz's are interested in Lake Freebird, Washington, Who Tri's Harder, Flat as a Pancake Century, and whatever else strikes our fancy. Also planning to do half iron race in June.

2008 Races

I finally joined! I think I'll do the half in Kentucky in May, and a lot of the other sprints/quarter distances that have already been posted. Anyone up for an indoor tri this year?

We haven't completely planned out tri calendar for this season but we do have some definites. We are doing Ironman Kansas 70.3, Race for Sight and the Republic Tiger Tri. Based on last year's experience the Republic Tri is a "must do". It is sponsored by Ultramax and is very nicely done. It has a short pool swim, some rolling bike hills, and flat, fast run.
More than likely, we will also do Freebird, despite all that moss from last year! I am also interested in the Cape Tri which is usually in April.

Hey Aimee we might be up for an indoor tri to keep the training motivated for Ironman Kansas. Do you have any in mind?

Well, this year I'm doing Race for Sight (I pinched a nerve and can't swim right now, so this one is "iffy") and I'm definitely doing the Republic Tri again. John and I are planning on an early summer century or two; I'm also looking into a "ladies only" summer bike tour to go on with John's sister.

Otherwise, we haven't really planned on a lot....yet :)

It looks like we'll have a good sized group from RMC for the Republic Tri! James and I missed out on it last year but are definitely in this year!

Anyone know of a tri the last weekend of March or the second to last weekend somewhat close that has an outdoor bike and run? I want to do one over spring break.
